5 Ways to Tell if Your Kids Are Bored

As many of you know my children have been off track for three weeks. This just so happened to be the week I went back to school and my internship. So let's just say that they have had some time to be bored.

Here are the top 5 ways to tell if your children are bored (I speak from experience):

1. You come home from school and your children have cleaned the entire house without being asked.
2. Your children get invited to go to swimming lessons with their cousins and to swim for a half hour, and your children act like it is Christmas. They even wake up at three in the morning and start running around the house giggling.
3. They get sick of watching television.
4. They become amoebas and will not leave your side when you return home.
5. They fight, fight, and fight and once they are done fighting, they fight some more.

Well, that is how I know that my children are bored. Can I just say that I have had some extreme guilt with being gone. I have even thought about quitting, because I do not want to scar my children, but then I realize that I only have four more months. I can do it, RIGHT?

This was so funny, Nicole! Hang in there. Some of my best memories as a child are the things we did to get into trouble when we were bored.

You can totally do this....can't you see the finish line. I lived this way growing up and I don't remember not feeling loved. They will become stronger and more independant and those are not bad qualities.
